January 5 – National Bird Day – someone confined to their home may enjoy a fun birdfeeder outside the window. Gather a few friends (because friends of a feather flock together!) and install a new feeder – and don’t forget to stop by each week to fill it. January 6 – Bean Day – jelly bean, lima bean, chili bean, bean jar, bean stalk, bean bag, bean salad .. the list goes on and on! If you feel like cooking a meal for your friend today, be sure you have beans on the menu! January 6 – Cuddle Up Day – maybe there are children in your life who need some extra nurturing right now – use today to let them relax, snuggled in a warm blanket, and watch a classic movie together
January 7 – Letter Writing Week – who doesn’t enjoy getting something unexpected in the mail? Send a note (snail mail!) to someone today. Your note will surely bring a smile to the face of the person receiving a bright colored enveloped hand addressed!
January 8 - Bubble Bath Day – bubbles for everyone! If your friend has small children, offer to “do” bath time tonight – and bring along some fun bubbles. While you’re at it, give Mom a basket with some soothing bubble bath – what a treat!
